Handwashing with soap, when done correctly, is critical in the fight against the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

  1. It is important for us to remind ourselves of the proper way to wash hands.
  2. Wet hands with running water
  3. Apply enough soap to cover wet hands Scrub all surfaces of the hands – including back of hands, between fingers and under nails – for at least 20 seconds.
  4. Rinse thoroughly with running water Dry hands with a clean cloth or air dry them.
