This study is designed to pilot implementation of the Baby Friendly Community Initiative (BFCI), a global initiative recommended by WHO to promote optimal infant and young child feeding practices.  The study sets out to determine feasibility and effectiveness of the BFCI, with regards to exclusive breastfeeding in the first six months after delivery, in Koibatek - Baringo County.
