Pauline Omaya

Administrative Associate

As an administrative Associate, with the Afya Uzazi Program, Pauline is responsible for planning, coordinating and overseeing office services and related programmatic support to achieve efficient utilization of available resources while ensuring compliance to company policies.  She serves as a primary resource for assistance in the project and is in charge of maintaining efficient office operations to keep the project work flowing without distractions or interruptions.

She has good knowledge in programme management procedures and over 15 years of experience in many aspects of office administration which includes providing administrative support to senior executives, co-ordinating and performing a range of staff as well as well as operational support activities; managing day-to-day office operations to keep work flowing smoothly and meet the teams’ needs and has a track record of maintaining efficient office operations.  She has worked with various Non-Governmental Organizations under programmes funded by USAID, European Union and the Embassy of Denmark International Development Cooperation (DANIDA).

Pauline is passionate about interpersonal relations and excellent work ethics.  She believes in working as part of a team, being organized and keeping things in order and finds enjoyment in knowing that she is making a difference by helping people and organizations become successful. 

She holds a Master’s Degree in Project Planning and Management from the University of Nairobi and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration – Entrepreneurship Option, from Kenya Methodist University, where she graduated with a first Class Honors.  Diversified skills include project management, enterprise development, administrative support, and client relations.
