In this issue, we share insights into data for specific indicators for Afya Uzazi Program, now in its third year. Each quarter, the program collects and reports its achievements in enhancing uptake of family planning (FP), reproductive, maternal, neonatal, adolescent and child health (RMNCAH) services in the focus sub-counties of Kuresoi North and Kuresoi South in Nakuru County; and Baringo North, Baringo Central, Marigat and Mogotio in Baringo. Using the data it collects, the program highlights best practices that can be scaled up and potential bottlenecks in service delivery.
We are deeply saddened to announce the passing away of Dr. Hudson Inyangala, Associate Director of the Afya Uzazi Nakuru Baringo Program, on November 7 in Eldoret, Kenya.
